Where we came from
Thomas Trucks & Equipment was founded by Wallace Thomas Sr. in 1967. What started as a small operation in Moultrie, Georgia has grown into a three-generation family business — still owned and operated by the Thomas family, still focused on the same thing: selling quality used trucks and heavy equipment to people who need them to work.
Customers have come to us for over thirty-five years because of our reputation and experience. We've built relationships with farmers, construction companies, trucking operations, government agencies, and municipalities throughout Georgia and Florida. Many of our customers have been buying from us for decades.
How we do it
We source our trucks and equipment carefully — often buying from single owners and fleet-maintained operations. We look for units that have been taken care of, not lots that have been run into the ground. Low overhead lets us pass those savings on to buyers.
Every vehicle and every piece of equipment we sell is inspected by our own shop before it's listed. If it needs repair, we make the repair. The machine leaves our yard ready to work on day one, backed by our satisfaction guarantee.
